If the karats in gold jewellery are measured in percentage then you must know the 10kt is made up with 41.7 percent of gold, 12kt with 50 percent, and 14kt with 58.3 percent, 18kt with 75 percent and 24kt is the 100 percent pure form of gold.

For routine wearing the pure gold would be the best choice because of its purity and it cannot tarnish and is not skin irritating.
